What is PRILIMED 30 (Dapoxetine HCL)?

PRILIMED 30 is dapoxetine, an SSRI built to be taken an hour or two before rather than every day. It delays ejaculation and does nothing else.

Also sold as Priligy or dapoxetine hydrochloride.

Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, the same class as several antidepressants, but built to clear the body fast rather than build up. Raising serotonin delays the ejaculatory reflex, and the short half-life is what makes it something you take before an occasion rather than every day.

Who is PRILIMED 30 for?

Men dealing with premature ejaculation who want something taken on the occasion rather than a daily antidepressant. 30mg is the dose to start at and this is the product for that.

It is the wrong purchase if the problem is erections, which is a different drug entirely. Astera Labs sells 60mg tablets for anyone already at that dose.

Before you run it. Dapoxetine does nothing for erections. It delays ejaculation and that is all it does. If the problem is getting or keeping an erection, this is the wrong product and a PDE5 inhibitor is what you want. Do not combine it with another SSRI, an SNRI, an MAOI or a triptan, because serotonin syndrome is a genuine risk, and leave at least fourteen days between an MAOI and this. Fainting is the side effect that matters most: dapoxetine can cause a sharp drop in blood pressure on standing, particularly on the first dose, which is why you take it with a full glass of water and avoid alcohol. Nausea, dizziness and headache are common. If you are on an antidepressant, this compound is not for you. Not for anyone under 18, and not for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to use PRILIMED 30

Swallow with a full glass of water, one to three hours before. Avoid alcohol entirely. If you feel light-headed, lie down until it passes. One dose in 24 hours.
