What is Clomiphene Citrate 50 (Astera Labs)?

Astera Labs clomiphene in 50mg tablets, 50 to a sachet. The SERM that pushes hardest on restarting your own testosterone after a cycle.

Also sold as Clomid, Clomifene, Serophene or clomiphene citrate.

Clomiphene is a SERM. At the pituitary it blocks estrogen’s negative feedback, so your body reads estrogen as low and raises LH and FSH to compensate. That signal is what restarts your own testosterone production. It is a mixture of two isomers, enclomiphene and zuclomiphene, and only the first does the useful work.

Clomiphene Citrate 50 benefits

Raises LH and FSH strongly, which is the mechanism that restarts your own production
The most established compound in post-cycle protocols alongside tamoxifen
Long half-life, so one dose a day is the whole protocol
50mg tablets, which can be halved for the 25mg most protocols taper down to

Clomiphene Citrate 50 dosage

Week 1 to 2: 50mg per day, one tablet
Week 3 to 4: 25mg per day, half a tablet
Gynecomastia: Not the first choice, use tamoxifen or raloxifene
Start after: 2 weeks post long ester, 2 to 3 days post short ester
Half-life: Enclomiphene about 10 hours, zuclomiphene several days
Protocol length: 4 weeks, extended to 6 if bloodwork says so

The usual shape is higher for the first fortnight then tapered. Many protocols run it alongside tamoxifen rather than instead of it.

Do not run an aromatase inhibitor through post-cycle therapy. Recovery needs estrogen present, and suppressing it here works against the entire point.

Who is Clomiphene Citrate 50 for?

Anyone finishing a suppressive cycle who wants the option that pushes recovery hardest.

CLOMIMED 50 is the same strength from Deus Medical in a boxed blister. If the visual or mood side effects are a concern, enclomiphene removes the isomer that causes them.

Before you run it. A SERM and an aromatase inhibitor are not interchangeable and mixing them up is the most common mistake in this category. An aromatase inhibitor stops estrogen being made and belongs on cycle. A SERM blocks estrogen at the receptor in some tissues while leaving it alone in others, which is what makes it the post-cycle tool. You want estrogen present during recovery, so running an aromatase inhibitor through post-cycle therapy works directly against the thing you are trying to do. Clomiphene specifically is known for two problems, both from the zuclomiphene isomer that accumulates over weeks. Visual disturbances are real: blurring, trailing lights, difficulty adjusting to the dark. They usually resolve after stopping but there are reports of them persisting, so treat them as a reason to stop rather than something to push through. Mood swings and emotional flatness are the other, and they are the reason a lot of people switch to enclomiphene or tamoxifen. Bloodwork is how you confirm any of this worked. Not for anyone under 18, and not for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to use Clomiphene Citrate 50

Swallow one tablet with water at the same time each day. Splitting the dose achieves nothing. Begin only once the last compound has cleared.
