What is Bones and Joint (Astera Labs)?

The collagen amino acids plus NAC, aimed at connective tissue rather than at muscle. Proline, glycine and lysine are the three collagen is actually built from.

Collagen is what tendons, ligaments and the connective part of bone are made of, and it is unusually rich in three amino acids: proline, glycine and lysine. All three are here. NAC adds antioxidant support on the inflammation side, and the branched-chain amino acids cover general tissue repair.

Bones & Joint benefits

Proline, glycine and lysine, the three amino acids collagen is richest in
N-acetylcysteine for the oxidative and inflammatory side
Branched-chain amino acids included for general tissue repair
Aimed at connective tissue rather than at muscle, which most products here are not
Not hormonal, so nothing is suppressed and no post-cycle therapy applies

Bones & Joint dosage

Standard: 1ml, 2 to 3 times per week
N-acetylcysteine: 50mg per ml
L-proline: 50mg per ml
L-valine: 40mg per ml
L-histidine, glycine, L-lysine: 25mg each per ml
L-leucine, L-isoleucine: 15mg and 10mg per ml

1ml two to three times a week. Connective tissue turns over slowly, so this is a product to judge over a couple of months rather than a couple of weeks.

It sits well alongside a healing peptide protocol, since it supplies the raw material while those work on the repair signalling.

Who is Bones & Joint for?

People whose joints and tendons are the limiting factor rather than their muscles, which after enough years of heavy training is most people.

For an actual injury rather than general wear, BPC-157 and TB-500 work on repair signalling. This supplies the building blocks; those tell the body to use them.

Before you use it. Supplying amino acids helps only if they were the limiting factor, and for most people eating enough protein they are not. Where this makes more sense is alongside a repair protocol or during a deficit, when intake is down and connective tissue is under load. Injection site soreness is common. Connective tissue is slow, so give it months rather than weeks before judging it. Nothing in it is hormonal, so nothing is suppressed and no post-cycle therapy applies. Store cool, dry and out of direct sunlight. Not for anyone under 18, and not for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to use Bones & Joint

Draw 1ml and inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Intramuscular is preferred, since these solutions can irritate under the skin. Rotate sites and wipe the stopper before every draw. The injection technique guide covers it.
