CYTOMED 25 (Liothyronine Sodium (T3))

What is CYTOMED 25 (Liothyronine Sodium T3)?

CYTOMED 25 is T3, the active thyroid hormone. It is the strongest non-stimulant fat loss tool here, and it takes muscle along with the fat if you let it.

Also sold as Cytomel, Triostat, Tertroxin or liothyronine sodium.

Liothyronine is T3, the active thyroid hormone. Your thyroid mostly produces T4 and your body converts it to T3 as needed, so taking T3 directly skips that step and works immediately. It raises the rate at which you burn through everything, which is why it works and also why it is not selective about what it burns. Read our full T3 overview.

CYTOMED 25 benefits

• Raises metabolic rate directly, without waiting for conversion from T4
• Works immediately rather than building over weeks the way T4 does
• The strongest non-stimulant fat loss tool here, with no jitters and no effect on sleep
• Commonly run alongside anabolics, which is what keeps the muscle loss in check
• 25mcg tablets, which is the standard starting dose and a clean step size

CYTOMED 25 dosage

Starting dose

25mcg per day for the first week

Common range

50 to 75mcg per day

Ceiling

100mcg per day, experienced only

Ramp

Increase by 25mcg every 5 to 7 days

Coming off

Step down by 25mcg every 5 to 7 days

Duration

6 to 8 weeks including both tapers

Ramp up and ramp down. The dose ladder is the protocol, not a suggestion, and both ends of it matter.

Run it with anabolics and keep protein high. T3 on its own in a hard deficit costs lean tissue, and that is the most common way this compound disappoints people.

Who is CYTOMED 25 for?

People already in a deficit who are running anabolics alongside and want the last of the fat to move faster. It is a finisher rather than a starting point.

It is the wrong purchase for anyone dieting without anabolic support, and for anyone who wants something they can simply stop when they are done. Astera Labs sells the same 25mcg in a sachet.

How to use CYTOMED 25

Swallow with water, once daily in the morning. Take it at the same time each day and step the dose up and down rather than jumping.
